HON SHA ZE SHO NEN

Reiki Symbols Reiki Hippie

SHAMBALLA REIKI

This symbol is traditionally used for absent healing and is known as “the bridge between heaven and earth.” It ensures that the receiver has proper consciousness and is the connector symbol to the entire nervous system and chakras. It has its origin in proper thought. Interpreted it means “The Christ in Me acknowledges the Christ in You.” Hon Sha Ze Sha Nen is a Buddhist chant used for releasing karmic debt. Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen works with both karmic issues and healing.

How to Use

In order to send long distance healing, first do a personal cleansing. Then call the person in to mind, through a photo, letter, visualization, with their record card, or however else feels appropriate to you. In a settled meditative state, affirm and visualize the person as whole. Repeat Cho Ku Rei three times, Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen three times, Sei He Ki three times. Repeat the earlier affirmation, then seal the treatment with Cho Ku Rei three times and Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen three times. Release the person and perform a personal cleansing. When sending a long distance healing always make sure that you have the recipient’s permission. It can also be helpful to arrange a mutually agreed time when you will be sending the healing and they can then be aware and in a more settled and receptive state. This also allows them to participate in their own healing.

FROM USUI REIKI

The Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen (hawn shaw zay show nen) sign works on even more subtle levels. It translates as “the Buddha in me greets the Buddha in you” (leading to the realisation of the Buddha in all things). In Japanese, signs such as this one (using oriental calligraphy) are known as “Kanji”. Symbolic hand gestures or mudras are also called Kanji. Technically Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen is not a symbol but a combination of 5 kanji. It can also been translated as “no past, no present, no future” & “correct thought (mindfulness) in the essence of being”. It can affect past, present & future conditions, things occurring at great distance & things happening in a different vibratory dimension. We can send healing to someone who has died to assist with their crossing, especially those who were unaware of spiritual matters during their lifetimes. You can also send all 3 signs to someone who has died suddenly or long ago in a battle. Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen works beyond time, space & direction as we know it.

Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen is linked to the water element & has a spiritual connection to the female Buddha Kannon, also known as Kwan Yin or Tara, who has vowed to help all sentient beings to enlighten through compassion. The male divinity of this sign is Avolokiteshvara, known in Japan as Senji Kanzeon Bosatsu.

Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen’s energies have been described as lunar, often seen as pure white radiant light, having an effect on higher psychic centres (5th & 6th Chakras). This affects not only the centres relating to the physical body but also those connecting us to higher spiritual realms. The traditional colour is white but it can be perceived in any colour. Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen provides an entrance into the Akashic Records & can be used in healing both our own & another’s Karma. Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen can heal past-life issues or matters affecting our current lives through Karmic patterns.

Usui Sensei did not have such far-reaching ideas about this sign & used it infrequently. He called it the “photograph method” & only the very wealthy were able to experience the strength of Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen. Those in need of distance healing would send a photo which he would use this symbol on, very rarely using any other signs to back it up or amplify its power.

Today people are more interested in the Akashic Records which describe karmic goals, debts & life processes of each of the soul’s many incarnations, including the present lifetime. You can send Reiki to previous lives. With the regular use of Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen we may become more aware of previous lifetimes & any repeating patterns which may be occurring. When we realise that there is a pattern linking out previous lives to our current one, it often becomes healed. By acknowledging a pattern exists we can remedy it & move on.

According to Doi this sign relates to the sun. The sun sends energy of higher dimension to everything & without the sun we could not survive. The sign connects to the core of the target object beyond time & space & brings deep healing & transformation through resonation with the sun's conscious energy.

Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen can be used to help sufferers of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder e.g. childhood trauma or help with future events e.g. exams, interviews or driving tests.

If you have suffered emotional trauma you may need to contact a qualified Psychotherapist or similarly qualified health professional. The following procedure is very useful but may be extremely distressing.

Emotional Trauma

think of the event

think of the date & age you were when it happened (a photo of you at the time can help)

draw Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen in the air while creating a mental image of the situation

draw Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen again as you remember the hurt of the experience

draw Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen again visualizing the whole scene becoming different – happier, warmer (alternatively view it as a film with no connection to you at all)

draw Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen again as you detach from the sensations & images

draw Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen again & watch the images fade away

repeat Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen kotodama quietly to yourself

continue until the hurt disappears

repeat daily for 1 week or until the trauma has gone

Absent or Distant Healing

hold a photo* of the person in your non-dominate hand

draw Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen over it & repeat the kotodama, the person’s name & their condition a total of 3 times. If you know where they are at the time you can add that in.

imagine the person swathed in beautiful bright light (your intuition will give you the required colour)

*you can use a teddy bear, doll, a pillow or cushion or just hold the person in your mind’s eye

~ you can also send the power symbol & the emotional symbol to intensify the healing

~ the photo method is known as Shashin Chiryo

~ the teddy or pillow method is known as Enkaku Chiryo

Both methods were taught by Usui Sensei.

Other Methods

imagine a smaller version of the person as your thigh

imagine a smaller version of the person between your hands

mentally go through the hand positions

send the Reiki to the subjects entire being with the intention that it go where needed

intend it

write the person's name on a piece of paper & hold that piece of paper with the name on it between your hands

use your thumb as a proxy, pretend it is the person & wrap your other fingers around it

visualize the person there in the air before you

imagine that you are in the same place as the person

substitute your body for theirs

do a "spot" treatment on an organ or other body part

In distance treatments the energy often just runs until it's done & 15 minutes is a rough guide of duration. Use your intuition as to how often & when. You can ask for the Reiki to be sent constantly until it is no longer required.
